David Cosby Dies At The Age of 81

It's been a tough few years of darkness in the way of what has happened in the world and the impact it has had on us all.

Loneliness is becoming a regular occurrence of facing challenges and dealing with our mortality and more people keep thinking about those things on a daily basis.

You can't outrun the fact that we will all die some day but you can be hopeful that live each day with the thought of gratitude for being here rather than waiting for the last tick of the life clock we all share.

Today, we all lost another hero and a brick was removed from the wall that we surrounded ourselves with during our childhood days and in case during the college years at Northeastern University in Boston. Back them WBCN was the beacon of our college journeys and the most visited port for those of us who wanted to hear what was new and essential in our lives.

He was arguably an integral part and member of the greatest vocal harmonizing and folk rock groups of all time. He sang song about Our House, gave us lessons into ways of Teaching our Children Well, explained the excitement of meeting that special person named Judy Blue Eyes and sang us of her Suite and then tried to comfort us as we tried to deal with the loss of life when they found four dead In Ohio.

We were there with them at Woodstock, and Love the One You're With as we were told to.

Yes, Crosby, Still, Nash and Young were our family and we loved them for the messages they provided and the comforting love they showed to us as they had us gather round to listen as if we were at a midnight campfire listening to stories and celebrating life and times of the everyday people.

It is not time to say thank you, so long and God Speed to the great story teller and soothe sayer, David Crosby, who has passed away at the age of 81!

Too many too soon this year alone, and i hope and pray that the quota required above has been met so and all we can Carry On without further distractions from our hearts being broken any more for a while.

Tell stories and do it in perfect harmony David, Heaven has a beautifyul choir and you are now part of it

RIP David Crosby, dead at the age of 81!

"Singer-songwriter-guitarist David Crosby, a founding member of two popular and enormously influential ’60s rock units, the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash (later Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), has died, his representative says. He was 81 years old. A cause of death has not been revealed.

The death came as a surprise to those who followed his very active Twitter account, which he’d kept tweeting on as recently as Wednesday. One of Crosby’s final tweets the day before he died was to make a typically jocular comment about heaven: “I heard the place is overrated… cloudy.”
